Types/ classes Of DSC:

Class-1, Class-2 & Class-3 each having different level of security.

Class 1: This Certificate is issued only for the mail purpose

Class 2 Certificate: These certificates will be issued for both individuals and organization name. Class 2 dsc Certificates was used by MCA, IT, PF, DGFT, and various other departments, Bankers, Professional, and govt employees etc.,

Class 3 Certificate: This certificate will be issued to individuals as well as organizations. As these are high assurance certificates, primarily intended for e-commerce applications, they shall be issued to individuals only on their personal (physical) appearance before the Certifying Authorities. MCA, IT, PF, DGFT, and various other departments, Bankers, Professional, and govt employees etc.,

What is an USB Token?

USB e-Token can be password protected so that Digital Signature is never lost when computer is formatted or internet explorer changed. 

Professionals who require Digital Signature Certificate
Under MCA21 all the authorized signatories of company and professionals who sign the manual documents and returns filed with ROC is required to obtain a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC). Therefore following personnel have to procure Digital Signature Certificate:

·         Directors

·         CA’s/Auditors

·         Company Secretary - Whether in practice or in job.

·         Bank Officials - for Registration and Satisfaction of Charges

·         Other Authorized Signatories.
